Here it is! The official reveal of our baby girl’s classic floral nursery.
As I am writing we are awaiting baby girl’s arrival very soon, within the coming days/week. I am so glad I was able to compile pictures and links together to get this posted before she makes her way into the world (I ended up posting this AFTER baby girl’s arrival but at least was able to get a head start!)
My son’s Woodland Mountain nursery was a huge hit on pinterest so here we are again with a girl nursery this time. I wanted something a little modern, a little vintage, and girly without being over baringly pink and “in your face.” One thing I know is that you spend A LOT of time in the nursery rocking and nursing, so I wanted it to have character but be peaceful and soft. I am so happy with the way it all turned out and also shoutout to Chip and Jo (aka their Hearth and Hand collection) for having so many wonderful decor pieces to grab and make it look like a beautiful botanical dream.
Without further or do here is Haven’s Baby Girl Classic Floral Nursery…
The Dresser & Shelves
This dresser from Ikea is a favorite of ours…so much so that it is in ALL our rooms. The drawers are spacious and deep enough to fit everything we need as well as the design being trendy and more affordable than a solid wood dresser.
The cute touches like the puzzle and wooden flower are from Etsy, of course. The wooden block is a special wooden piece hand painted by my mom. She is an amazing artist (and children’s book author…you can check out her books here) and has made a customized block for each grandchild. She continued this tradition from my grandpa, who has passed and gone to heaven, who did this for all his grandchildren (like me!)

Outfits
I love a little display of cute outfits in any girls room and this was no exception, especially vintage rompers!

The Main Wall & Crib
I was SO happy to find a company that would do a Wooden name for a fair price compared to what is typically on Etsy.
I got the last rolls of this wallpaper before it got discontinued but I have linked a similar wallpaper. I love that this wallpaper was a soft pink that wasn’t overwhelming but just enough floral & pink to make it feel girly.
I learned with my last nursery room that I wanted to do a wall light for reading books at night instead of a lamp. The lamp in Ryder’s woodland nursery broke after him running around playing, so this wall light was a great way to avoid a lamp breaking hazard.

The Glider
I really wanted to find a glider that had “wings” on the side for when I want to rest my head to the side. The color on this is also a creamy/ivory white which is great because it is a “light” chair without being stark white and getting dirty easily.

Curtains & Bookshelf
Love these curtain hangers to drape the curtains to the side during the day. It is a simple way to make the room feel put together.
THESE bookshelves! I put some up like this in Ryder’s room and he reaches and grabs books all the time. I really have found that having books low and on display where the covers can be seen is an effective tool for independent reading.
We have been loving this Gathre mat. With Ryder I didn’t want to splurge on it cause it’s expensive but I’m glad we got it with Haven cause we carry it all around the house for her and it feels like it flows with the house instead of being an eye sore. Definitely happy to have this for future babies too!

Storage
I love using this cubby storage for toys to dump out for our toddler to play with while I rock the baby/nurse her as well as a cute display for some decorative touches.

CLOSET
Bows, bows, and more bows! All from amazon.
I use the dresser for all her everyday outfits and leave the closet for occasion/church outfits.

Special Details
I just love this little sign in the room, it’s something that will surely go in her baby box for keepsakes when she’s older.
All the sides of the wooden block my mom hand painted, isn’t it amazing?!
With each of my baby’s rooms I have prayed for a specific verse for the Lord to give me to put up in their room. I knew in my Spirit this was the right verse for her and it is a wonderful reminder on the wall for me to pray over her as I rock her to sleep. I pray it is a verse that carries with her throughout life, that God is ALWAYS faithful and provides.
Luke 12:27-28
“If He dresses the lilies with beauty and splendor, how much more will He clothe you?”
